PROJECT + PRODUCTION MANAGER

We are looking for a dynamic, experienced, friendly and committed Project + Production Manager to join our team. This is a full time and in-person position.

At Libby Slader Design (LSD) , our team successfully collaborates with our clients, other professional consultants, and contractors to deliver a quality design solution for each project, that reflects the organization’s brand, concept, and culture.

Your Role

As an LSD Project + Production Manager, you will utilize your management skills, attention to detail and professionalism to deliver an exceptional project on schedule and on budget. You will work with the LSD team and lead the project and construction documents in a clear and thoughtful way.

Your Duties

  • Manage internal and external project teams for multiple projects.

  • Manage all phases of a project including pre-project planning, existing conditions verification, programming, schematic design, design development, construction documents and project administration.

  • Manage project schedule, productivity, budgets and project set-up, with the project team, client, sub-contractors, vendors and consultants.

  • Communicate and schedule internal and external meetings related to the schedule and project goals.

  • Ensure LSD drawing and drafting standards are adhered to, maintained and improved.

  • Work with the design team to ensure that building codes, local codes, protocols and permits are understood and adhered to at every stage of the project.

  • Track contract deliverables at every phase of the project.

  • Oversee and participate in the development of construction documents, based on the design and scope of work.

  • Participate in project meetings, site visits, project documentation and close out, during the project administration phase.

  • Mentoring staff members and aid in their advancement.

Your Qualifications

  • Approximately 10+ years in the commercial architecture and design industry, including 5+ years of project management experience.

  • Experience with leading commercial projects including hospitality, work- space and multi-unit residential of all sizes.

  • Expert in AutoCAD drafting.

  • Experience with Adobe programs including Photoshop and Illustrator.

  • Experience with Sketch Up, Excel/Numbers and Word/ Pages.

  • Strong design and space planning skills.

  • Proficiency in producing a set of interior constructions documents, including verifying existing site conditions.

  • Knowledge of building codes, standards and best building practices for commercial projects.

  • Proficient understanding of millwork construction for hospitality and commercial based projects.

  • Excellent written, verbal and communication skills.

  • Be highly motivated, organized, ability to juggle multiple tasks and projects to meet project deadlines.

  • Proficient in reading structural, HVAC and architectural drawings.

  • Flexibility to work both collaboratively and independently on projects of all scales and types.

  • Proven experience or demonstrated commitment to mentoring team members.

  • Professional ( Bachelor’s or Masters) degree in Interior Architecture or Interior Design from an accredited program.

  • Professional member of IIDA/ASID and/or NCIDQ certification, a plus.
